Andropause

Often referred to as the Male Menopause.

Andropause is the gradual age-related decline in testosterone in men, typically starting around mid-40s to 50s.

It can cause low energy, reduced libido, mood changes, sleep issues, decreased muscle mass, and weight gain.

It’s similar to menopause but happens slowly and varies widely between individuals.

Andropause - The Male Menopause

Andropause is the male midlife hormone shift where testosterone naturally declines, affecting the body, mind, and emotions. Men may notice a drop in sex drive, constant tiredness, changes in mood, and a loss of muscle with a gain in belly fat.

It’s not sudden like menopause, but a slow, steady change that can impact confidence, wellbeing, and daily life. Recognising it is the first step to getting support and feeling like yourself again.
